Payments, deposits and reservations

Deposits are non-transferable, non-refundable and subject to the cancellation policy below. Exceptions are made for extenuating circumstances at management’s discretion, in which case a cancellation/handling fee will be charged.

Full payment is due on the day of arrival, or the following morning at latest, for arrivals after office hours.

No refunds, under any circumstances for late check-ins or early check-outs.

Tariffs quoted at time of booking are subject to change without prior notice.

The name we have against the reservation is responsible for the account.

We reserve the right to change your booked chalet or site as per our operational requirements.

Arrival and Departure Times

Arrival time is from 2:00 pm and departure time is before 10:00 am.

Unauthorised early arrivals or late departures will be charged for an extra night. Please arrange with management should you want to arrive early or depart late.

Strictly no early arrivals or late departures over Long Weekends, Easter, throughout December or the first week of January.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, the following rules shall apply:

More than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% deposit refundable (less a 5%admin fee)
More than 14 days prior to arrival: 50% deposit refundable (less a 5%admin fee)
Less than 14 days prior to arrival: 0% deposit refundable
Deposits for Christmas and Easter Holiday bookings are non-refundable

General Resort Rules:
No littering
No smoking in any buildings at Glengarry
No fires on the ground; fires are only permitted in a braai stand.
No pets (Fine of R200 per pet per day)
No motorised motorbikes or quad-bikes.
Speed Limit – 20km
Please leave the ablutions as you would like to find them.
Maximum 8 persons per camping site.
We strongly recommend that mountain bikers (of all ages) wear helmets when riding.
Staff members must be treated with respect at all times.

Noise Policy
Glengarry is a family-friendly resort and we encourage you to enjoy the peaceful and tranquil outdoor environment, and be considerate of other guests, especially your neighbours.
We do not tolerate loud noise, music or other disturbances at any time of day or night.
Music and voices must only be heard on your designated site.
Be aware that groups tend to have a cumulative effect.
No foul language will be tolerated.
