KAMBERG CLASSIC 2024
MTB & TRAIL RUN | GLENGARRY | 7 & 8 SEPT ’24
This is the best weekend of trail running and mountain biking for the whole family! Join us at Glengarry to Ride & Run the most epic trails including forests, mountains, rivers, single track, and tough climbs to spectacular views! There is a route for every ability from the kids to the racing snakes! Please note the Kamberg Classic is a CSA Sanctioned Event. On Saturday afternoon ride or run with your kids and then we will all get together to watch the Springboks play the All Blacks on the big screen! Sunday is race day; and after you have challenged yourself then treat yourself to a Festive Spring Day including a fab Food Market, Burger Bar with a free burger for all participants, Beer & Gin Bar, Thirsti Tent, Funky Pants, Trail Shed, Music, Kids Fun & Prizes Galore! It promises to be a magic weekend on and off the trails so don’t miss Kamberg Classic 2024!
WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Saturday 7 September – Family Fun Day
12:00 Registration
15:00 Family Fun Run or Ride – 3 & 6km.
17:00 Springboks vs All Blacks on the Big Screen. Please wear Green and Gold. Please note that the Pub will close at 9am on Saturday night.
All day: Food will be on sale at the Glengarry Tea Garden all day – Bacon and egg rolls for breakfast, Wors Rolls for lunch and Hearty beef stew for dinner. There will be a coffee cart all day and the pub will be open from midday.
Sunday 8 September – Race Day
6:00 Registration
8:00 MTB – 10km, 20km & 40km
8:15 Run – 5km, 10km & 20km
11:00 Prize giving
All day: Burger bar with a FREE burger for all participants, Food Market, Beer & Gin Bar, Thirsti Tent, Funky Pants, Trail Shed, Music, Kids Fun & Prizes Galore!
* Please note that pre-registration will close at Midnight on Wednesday 4 September 2024. After this you will still be able to register on site on Saturday 7 September from 12:00 – 14:00 and Sunday 8 September from 6:00 – 8:00

- Please note that pre-registration will close at Midnight on Wednesday 4 September 2024. After this you will still be able to register on site on Saturday 7 Sept between 12:00 and 2:00 and Sunday 8 Sept from 6:00 – 8:00.
- Please note that every participant in Sunday’s events gets a free burger. Saturday’s Fun Run/Ride does not include a burger.
- The Fun Run & Ride are not timed
- The Fun Run & Ride are on the same route and you are welcome to run with your child who is riding or vice versa.
- Payment at the event – Cash and Zapper are preferable but we do also have a credit card machine.
- No babysitting will be provided but Glengarry is a very safe and child friendly venue with an animal farm and lots of jungle gyms.
- On Saturday Evening after the rugby the Glengarry Pub will strictly close at 9pm.
Directions to Glengarry
From Durban
Travel northbound on the N3 and take the Nottingham Road off ramp (exit 132).
Turn right and travel to the village of Nottingham Road.
Keep right under the railway bridge and continue through village on to Rosetta (R103) 8km away.
At Rosetta turn left onto the Kamberg Rock Art Centre Rd and travel 31km along this road.
Turn left onto the Glengarry and Highmoor Road and glengarry is immediately on the right.
From Johannesburg
Travel southbound on the N3 until the Mooi River Plaza, pay toll on far left and exit immediately.
Turn right over freeway until T junction, Engen and Wimpy straight ahead.
Turn left onto Old Main Road (R103) to Rosetta 7km away.
At Rosetta turn right onto the Kamberg Rock Art Centre Rd and travel 31km along this road.
Turn left onto the Glengarry and Highmoor Road and Glengarry immediately on the right.
